A future direction for Procurement Graduate Programme

We are delighted to announce that EPS (Expert Procurement Solutions Limited), headed by Andrew McLean, will be working with us to deliver the graduate programme from August this year until 2026.

The programme will be aligned as closely as possible to the current framework. Graduates will still enjoy the opportunity to rotate through government agencies, and benefit from similar support, education and development opportunities.

The Procurement Graduate Programme was created to develop tomorrow’s procurement leaders. Graduates spend two years embedded within government agencies building their procurement expertise. Many have gone on to establish successful careers in procurement, both in the public and private sectors. The high calibre of our procurement graduates and the commitment of their host agencies to support them, have been central to the programme’s success. 

Building the capability of the procurement system remains central to what we do at NZGP and we’ll continue to focus on what we can do to support workforce capability within the procurement system.
