Agencies develop framework for delivering broader outcomes

A number of government agencies, led by Waka Kotahi New Zealand Transport Agency, have collaborated on the development of a practical framework for agencies implementing broader outcomes.

Government procurement activities offer a unique opportunity to leverage government spend to achieve social, environmental, economic and cultural outcomes and greater public value for New Zealand.

As the Procurement Functional Leader, I am pleased to see the framework for delivering broader outcomes. The framework is an example of good collaboration among agencies to develop a resource for public sector agencies seeking to achieve broader outcomes from their procurement spend.
