Demystifying procurement courses
Demystifying procurement is a course for procurement beginners, project and contract managers or practitioners who would like to refresh their knowledge.
In early December we ran our face-to-face workshops which were a great success with some fantastic feedback.
“Really useful workshop, especially after closing one tender on GETS. Had an example to relate back to.”
“Very good and interactive workshop. Easy to understand. Presenters were great.”
“Made me understand to look at needs more than procure straight to solution.”
These interactive face-to-face workshops introduce the procurement lifecycle and some of the key activities in it.
We have several workshops on offer this year, with one in Auckland in March, and in Wellington in March, April, May and June.
Check the dates and sign up for these workshops on Hīkina, or sign up for the waitlist option to express your interest in attending if the dates are not suitable.
Demystifying procurement workshops - You need to be a logged in, registered government user to enrol for this workshop.
If you are interested in having a workshop outside of Wellington or Auckland, please use the feedback form to let us know your preference.
We also offer an online module which is a companion to the workshop and can be completed either before or after the workshop, or as a stand-alone option. It’s a self-paced course which takes you through planning, sourcing and managing procurement. A great course to do if you can’t make it to a face-to-face course; it’s always available and fits into your schedule!
Do you enjoy demystifying procurement for others?
New Zealand Government Procurement (NZGP) are looking for volunteers to share their procurement expertise and experience in facilitation by helping to lead our demystifying procurement face to face workshops.
These workshops have been very popular with attendees and the NZGP facilitators have enjoyed leading the groups.
