IT hardware contract return to market
The All-of-Government (AoG) IT hardware contract has returned to market. A Request for Proposals (RFP) was released through GETS on 31 March 2021.
The new Generation Three solution aims to increase access for New Zealand businesses to supply IT hardware to agencies. It also aims to meet government broader outcomes through reducing waste and emissions.
The new solution has six categories covering a range of IT hardware products and associated services, including new product categories such as meeting room equipment and PC/Devices-as-a-Service.
The contract objectives are:
- increasing value-driven participation
- promoting panel competition and value for money
- implementing broader outcomes initiatives
- remaining future-focused and flexible.
The new IT hardware solution will be in place prior to the expiry of the current contract on 21 September 2021. Further information about the RFP can be found on GETS.
