Motor vehicles request for proposal live

New Zealand Government Procurement (NZGP) has issued a request for proposal (RFP) for Motor vehicles.

This new contract will replace the current All-of-Government Motor vehicles contract, expiring 30 June 2025. A Request for Proposals (RFP) was issued through the Government Electronic Tender Service (GETS) on 31 January 2025.

We are seeking motor vehicle suppliers that can meet the fleet requirements of eligible agencies and support them in achieving their desired outcomes through government procurement.

The scope includes all current and future fuel sources, including:

  • Fuel cell electric or hydrogen
  • Battery electric
  • Plug in hybrid electric vehicles
  • Hybrid electric, and
  • Internal combustion engines (petrol and diesel).

The RFP is open until 5 March 2025 and further information can be found on GETS.
