New All-of-Government electricity contract launch
The new All-of-Government (AoG) electricity contract went live on 1 September 2022. The initial term for the new contract is three years, with two rights of renewal, each for three years.
The contract supports the Government’s broader outcomes and gives agencies more visibility on their energy consumption through better access to data and insights.
Some of the key contract features include:
- Consumption data (historical and real-time) to help you reduce emissions from goods and services.
- Desktop and cloud-based applications that you can use to review usage and spend data.
- A high level of price certainty and flexibility on your daily consumption, through fixed price variable volume (FPVV).
- Changes to the administration fee from a percentage base to cent per kW to encourage you to consume less energy.
Most suppliers will also be required to produce climate-related disclosures in line with the recommendations of Task Force on Climate Related Financial Disclosures (TCFD).

- Manawa Energy
- Simply Energy.
