Part of: Property news Procurement news Common Capability

The new Government Property Group (GPG) common capability property consultancy services contract went live on 20 September 2024.

The new property consultancy services (PCS) contract went live on 20 September 2024. The initial term of the contract is 3 years, and it provides for two renewal terms of three years each.

The new contract makes it easy for agencies to increase public value and savings through a clear and transparent pricing model. It creates a one-stop solution for agencies to procure property consultancy services that cater to the life cycle of a property’s needs.

Some of the key contract features include:

  • value for money – provider rates are confirmed for the next two years giving consistent pricing and price certainty. These are the maximum rates the provider can charge.
  • a wide variety of providers across seven different subcategories.
  • two new sub-categories: property related iwi relationships and sustainability services.
