New waste removal and minimisation services agreement launching soon

The new syndicated agreement covers a wider range of waste management services.

The current waste management services agreement is closed to further syndication. In June a new Waste removal and minimisation services agreement will replace the current contract.

The Department of Corrections, the lead agency behind this contract, is currently completing the sourcing process. 

The new solution aims to offer agencies access to a more comprehensive supplier panel with the option to select from a wider range of services from a range of waste removal and minimisation services across all waste streams with nationwide coverage.

Suppliers will have the opportunity to join the panel at staged intakes throughout the life of the 10-year contract. 

The contract will be available by 1 June 2025. There will be more information on our website once the contract has been launched.
