Public consultation on the Rules has closed and 2024 business survey report published

Public consultation on the proposed 5th edition of the Government Procurement Rules closed on 8 April.

We received over 900 submissions from a range of stakeholders. All this input is invaluable. Next, we will provide advice to the Government on finalising the 5th edition of the Rules.

We are also publishing the 2024 Business Survey report. Each year we seek feedback from any businesses and providers that supply, or are thinking of supplying, to government.

This survey will be of interest to government agencies and businesses to understand where practices are working well and where further improvement can be made to ensure procurement activity delivers public value to New Zealand.
