Spotlight on reporting – Agency reporting for March 2024

We are collecting reporting on these broader outcomes:

• Progressive procurement – part of priority outcome one: Give New Zealand business better access to government procurement
• Improve conditions for workers – priority outcome three.

All government procurement mandated agencies must complete this reporting. To date, the requirement to complete this reporting is not impacted by the change of government.

Reporting

We collect most of the broader outcomes reporting information automatically via systems such as GETS. However, we still require some manual reporting.

Progressive procurement – part of priority outcome one: Give New Zealand business better access to government procurement

This reporting covers the period 1 July 2023 – 31 December 2023. It requires all mandated agencies to report on their progress against an 8% target of their relevant annual procurement contracts being awarded to Māori businesses.

Improve conditions for workers – priority outcome three

This report covers the period 1 July 2023 – 31 December 2023. It requires all mandated agencies to report on their designated contracts for cleaning, security and forestry.
