Spotlight on reporting – Agency reporting for March 2025

Part of: Procurement news

The next reporting deadline is 3 March 2025.

We are collecting reporting on these broader outcomes:

  • Progressive procurement (part of priority outcome 1: Give New Zealand business better access to government procurement)
  • Improve conditions for workers (priority outcome 3).

All government procurement mandated agencies must complete this reporting.

Increase access for New Zealand businesses

We collect most of the broader outcomes reporting information automatically via systems such as GETS. However, we still require some manual reporting.

Progressive procurement

Part of priority outcome 1: Give New Zealand business better access to government procurement

This reporting covers the period 1 July 2024 – 31 December 2024. It requires all mandated agencies to report how many of their relevant annual procurement contracts are awarded to Māori businesses.

This reporting covers the period 1 July 2024 – 31 December 2024. It requires all mandated agencies to report on their designated contracts for cleaning, security and forestry.
