Unlocking savings through the AoG print contract
Agencies and schools can realise significant cost savings by using All-of-Government (AoG) contracts.
The savings can be dramatic: All-of-Government (AoG) contracts managed by New Zealand Government Procurement (NZGP) save public service agencies around $200 million per year.
One school’s annual spend on ‘print’ (printers and photocopiers, including maintenance and software) reduced from $70K to $20K after joining the AoG Print Technology and Associated Services (PTAS) contract. This kind of saving is one of the reasons the participation rate of schools in this contract has increased by almost 500% since 2019.
Feedback about the contract has been overwhelmingly positive.
Your help and guidance saved us a lot of money, next time I will come straight to your team.
Throughout our engagement with the NZGP team we felt fully supported. The team assisted us to understand and effectively manage decisions related to photocopier lease options.
I would strongly recommend working with the NZGP Print/Photocopier team when considering their photocopier and/or print options.
We manage over 23 collaborative contracts that help participating agencies and schools purchase a range of goods and services at favourable terms and conditions. PTAS is one of these contracts already in use. As part of our service, the NZGP Print team can help you evaluate your current print contracts (for photocopiers and/or printers) and advise if it makes sense to end an existing contract and move to PTAS.
