Update on the use of technology platforms to support government procurement

New Zealand Government Procurement (NZGP) has been exploring the use of technology to make it easier for agencies and suppliers to engage. A key part of this is an online platform that simplifies the procurement process and reporting requirements.

We piloted the DIA-led Marketplace (Pae Hokohoko) for our All-of-Government (AoG) construction consultancy services panel, see the joining process for more information on this arrangement.

Joining process - Construction consultancy services

We have now decided to source an alternative platform to meet the needs of agencies, suppliers and NZGP; however suppliers and agencies will continue to use elements of the DIA Marketplace to register for NZGP’s AoG construction consultancy services panel. Te Tari Taiwhenua Department of Internal Affairs (DIA) continues to use Marketplace for their ICT AoG contracts. DIA’s suppliers and agencies will continue to use Marketplace for those DIA ICT services.
